No. This grille is a direct replacement for the original part. It is designed to fit the factory screw locations, meaning no drilling or cutting is required for installation.

Why is this listed as fitting 2010-2015 models only?
This grille is specific to the "Facelift" T5.1 chassis. The shape of the front end, including the bonnet and headlights, changed in 2010, so this will not fit the earlier 2003-2009 models.
