An excellent product straight from VW to fix and repair those small annoying paint chips you will get throughout your vehicle's life. While also avoiding an expensive trip to a body shop for paint.

We recommend finding the correct paint code for your vehicle and confirming it before ordering and use to avoid a costly mistake.

"Where can I find my paint code?" 
Most often you will be able to find your paint code on a sticker/plate inside the driver's door or inside the glovebox. You can also call your dealer and give them your VIN and they should be able to tell you your paint code.

Once you have this information, you will be able to get an exact match of the paint that you require.

Volkswagen does not supply instructions with this kit, but these are guidelines on usage.

Step 1  - Please clean the area and ensure it is free of dust and any other contaminants or wax, optimal temperature is 15-20 degrees to avoid the paint coagulating or running.

Step 2 - Shake paint for 30 seconds with the cap on and the ball rattling and test colour on test card prior to application. Apply a very thin layer of the base coat (being 2-3 coats of exceptionally fine layers, 1 hour between each coat depending on temperature)

Step 3 - Afterwards, apply 1 or 2 coats of a very thin layer of lacquer. (1-hour drying between each coat) 

Please remember that touch-up paint is used to help hide and protect your bodywork from small stone chips. If used a lot, regardless of colour match, there is the possibility of seeing a small, raised lump where the paint is thicker.

Metallic Colour Paint
This is a Metallic colour paint, metallic paint adds a small amount of powdered metal to its mixture, these metal particles found in metallic paint reflect more light than a solid paint job, giving the car a shinier and cleaner look. Metallic paint can also hide minor scratches more effectively than solid paint finishes.
