Please note - Before first use, the Technical Cotton (TC) fabric must be soaked to activate its waterproofing. This can be done using a garden hose or another water source. During this process, the awning will leak—this is normal. Allow it to dry naturally, and repeat if necessary. Once fully treated, the fabric will remain waterproof.
Please Note- Our Connect Kit for driveaway awnings is not designed to fit vehicles with a pop-top roof.
For pop-top roof fitment, we recommend using our Vamoose(SWB-LWB) rails or the provided straps.

Please note - The kador strip is supplied in a 4m length. You can cut this down to suit your van as you wish.The figure 8 is supplied in sections, and again you can trim these to your desired length.
How does it fit?
The connect kit includes all you will need to connect your Driveaway awning to your VW Transporter T5-T5.1/T6-T/6.1! Simply slide the Driveaway kit onto your erected awning and easily and quickly attach to your new awning rail for a secure connection.The awning rail attaches easily to your van using existing roof bolts, providing a strong and reliable fixing point for your awning. No drilling is needed, making installation straightforward. The awning can also be used for vans which have roofbars fitted to the roof mounting points. Simply take off your roofbars, position the awning rail and then fix the roofbars down over the top of the awning rail
How long does fitting take?
With AirBeam technology fitting and setup usually takes between 10-20 minutes
Do I need any special tools?
No! All equipment needed to setup your awning is included!
