Why do these side steps not fit Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) models?
Rear Wheel Drive versions of the Crafter and MAN TGE have a slightly different floor pan structure and routing underneath the chassis to accommodate the rear driveshaft and differential setup. This alters the placement of the factory mounting points, meaning the brackets supplied in this kit will only align with FWD and AWD (4Motion) platforms.

Will these steps fit both the LWB and XLWB (Long Maxi) van lengths?
Yes, they will. Both the LWB and XLWB models share the exact same wheelbase measurement between the front and rear axles. Because the side doors and sills cover the same distance on both lengths, these 353cm boards span the area perfectly on both configurations.

Do these side steps offer any protection to the sides of the van?
