Genuine VW tail light bulb holder for the VW Caddy & Maxi MK3 from 2004 to 2015

Over time, your bulb holders may stop working correctly due to moisture ingress or age-related corrosion. This causes bad connections causing bulbs to flicker, or even fail completely in some cases.

Luckily, VW manufactured these rear clusters in several parts, meaning a total replacement of the unit isn't necessary, and any problems can usually be rectified by replacing this inexpensive component.
