Unauthorised use of Credit Cards

We have a strict policy of investigating all attempts at ordering from our website by unauthorised persons using stolen credit card numbers. All suspicious orders will be investigated by sophisticated means and if necessary the information will be passed to the relevant government agencies in both this country and the countries involved. We reserve the right to double check all orders and restrict shipping as and when we choose.

Please note, we will not accept payment via Paypal where goods are to be collected from or fitted at our premises. In the event of collection or fitting – goods must be paid for on site via credit/debit card with chip and pin or by cash.

Currency

All prices are displayed in GBP (Great Britian Pound). You can select to display prices in Euro. Prices displayed in Euro are an indication only, based on the current exchange rate, your payment card will be billed in GBP.

All items sold are subject to availability

All offers are subject to stock availability. We will of course notify you immediately if we have run out of any goods you have ordered. We do operate a ‘back-order’ system, and should a part be out of stock, we will advise you with an expected delivery date. Back-orders will automatically be dispatched as soon as fresh stocks are available. Please advise us if this will not be satisfactory. Product availability are subject to change without notice.

Reconditioned Exchange Items

All reconditioned parts are sold on an exchange basis. If the old unit is not exchanged at the time of purchase, a surcharge will be added to the invoice, redeemable when the old unit is received in a reconditionable state. The surcharge will be refunded in the same form as it was charged (cheque/cash/credit card). The cost of return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

We will only process orders where full authorisation of payment has been obtained. We reserve the right to refuse or restrict any purchase.

Guarantees

Palm Automotive guarantees customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with the goods you have bought please return them to us within 30 days of delivery.
You will receive a full refund, providing the goods are delivered in new condition.

Warranty

All mechanical parts sold by Palm Automotive are covered by a full 12 month/12,000 mile warranty from the date of dispatch. This warranty is limited to the value of the part, and does not include fitting costs or failure of related components. In the event of a complaint, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can remedy the situation speedily.

Exceptions to standard warranty

Guarantee WHEELS & TYRES POLICY & WARRANTIES

Our Alloy wheels are supplied with a limited 12 month warranty against material defects and workmanship. Any damage caused to Tyres or the vehicle are not covered under this warranty. Superlook and Silver finish Wheels have a 12 month limited warranty against surface degradation subject to our fair usage policy. Black Diamond and Chrome Finish wheels do not carry a warranty. We do NOT offer any warranty against surface degradation & corrosion as the condition will entirely depend on customer care and maintenance. During the winter months, special care must be taken to wash and remove Road Salt and Grit. Only Neutral PH detergent cleaning materials should be used. The use of Acidic Cleaners to remove brake dust deposits will affect the clearcoat and alloy surfaces and should NOT be used. High Pressure water washers and the use of steam cleaning will also invalidate our wheels warranty. Damage dents and scratches caused by Abrasion or stone chips are not covered under this warranty. Fitment of wheels should only be undertaken by qualified persons. Damage incurred by dropping the wheels or during fitting with tyres or onto the vehicle is not covered in this warranty. If wheels are fitted incorrectly or the wrong nuts or incorrect centering rings (or centering rings are omitted) then any resulting damage is not covered in this warranty. Fitting of incorrect tyres will also invalidate this warranty. All wheels should be thoroughly inspected for imperfections before fitting to a vehicle. Once fitted to a vehicle, we cannot be held responsible for blemishes faults or buckled rims as this can take place after fitting. It is the customer’s responsibility to check that our wheels and Tyres comply with the conditions of their insurance company and local authorities as these can vary in different areas. We cannot be held responsible for changes in the law or conditions of insurance companies that may affect the fitting of wheels or tyres purchased from us. Wheel nuts must be re checked and re-tightened before driving not more than 30 miles after fitting. By paying for the order over the internet the customer accepts all responsibility for any resulting liability and costs that may be incurred. Palm Automotive cannot be held liable for any resulting action as the customer has been made aware of the change to the vehicle.

CHROME ALUMINIUM and STAINLESS STEEL PRODUCTS

Our Stainless Steel Side bars, A Bars Door Handles, Trim, etc carry a 12 month fair usage limited warranty against build quality and workmanship. Claims made against surface defects or corrosion during the warranty period are subject to fair usage and the value will diminish according to the number of months left under warranty. Mounting points on the products and brackets are not covered against surface degradation. Chrome plated Mirror covers and aluminium products such as running boards do NOT carry a warranty against surface degradation as the condition will entirely depend on customer care and maintenance. During the winter months, special care must be taken to wash and remove Road Salt and Grit or corrosion will quickly occur.

Drawings, photographs, part numbers, layout and style are considered property. Reproduction in whole, or in part, is strictly prohibited without written consent. Measurements are approximate, Exact products may vary from that shown. All products are subject to availability. Trademarks Acknowledged. Palm Automotive Ltd has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website and therefore shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. These exclusions of liability shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by negligence of Palm Automotive Ltd or any of its employees or agents

Descriptions

All product descriptions are given in good faith. All claims of effect of fitting uprated/improved/modified/lowered parts are based on the assumption that the vehicle is currently in factory standard trim for a standard model ie, not already modified and not factory special.

Damaged Goods

All goods are carefully packaged before dispatch. However, accidents do happen. If your order is damaged on delivery, please contact us immediately, Any claim for goods damaged in transit MUST be made within 48 hours of delivery. Please keep all packaging for inspection at the delivery address.

Return Procedures of unwanted goods

In the highly unlikely event of customer dissatisfaction please return the goods to the following address and e-mail us to tell us about your reasons for doing so. We are committed to providing you a first class service.

Return Procedures of faulty goods

In the highly unlikely event of being sent faulty goods please return the goods to the above address with a description of the faults. Where goods have been returned faulty within 14 days after purchase we will provide a full refund including the cost of postage.

Refunds

Refunds will be made within 30 days and in the same form as the original charge (cheque/cash/credit/debit card).

Exchange of Goods

We will be happy to exchange any items you are not completely satisfied with providing they are returned to us within 30 days of delivery.

Delivery Times

It is our policy to ensure you receive your goods as quickly as possible. In most cases we dispatch the orders the same day or the day after the order has been placed. Delivery usually takes about 2 working days in the UK, within 5 working days to mainland Europe and the USA and between 7 and 14 working days to the rest of the world, depending on the country you reside. However, please allow 28 days for delivery. The cost of delivery also includes cost of packing.

Application of VAT

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) unless otherwise stated. Orders sent to counties outside the EU are VAT free. Please note on International shipments that the recipient is responsible for any local import duties and taxes that may be charged.

These terms and conditions, your order and payment and the delivery of the goods and services you order, form the basis of a contract under the law of England and Wales between you the customer and Palm Automotive. Your statutory rights under the
law of England and Wales are not affected by these terms and conditions.
