I recently had this very item fitted to my van (which by the way is the very van featured in the photos on this website). The main purpose was to protect the bonnet from scratches and chips. I also think it makes the van stand out a little more than it already did. It does exactly what is should, it's easy to clean and was easy to install. One tip though would be to retain a picture of how it's laced up so that you know how to put it back on should it need to come off.
