Bilstein B14 KOMFORT Adjustable Coilover Suspension - VW T5 T6

When it comes to suspension, Bilstein are regarded as the number one premium solution.

The TÜV approved German manufactured coilover kit will offer unrivalled performance & comfort as well as that desired stance so many people are chasing. The Transporter-dedicated kit offers lows of between 40mm & 70mm all round. A pair of C-spanners is included in the kit to make altering the ride height of your van a doddle, even on the driveway.

The B14 product range from Bilstein is among the best that money can buy. Offering full height adjustability (front & rear) as well as a much stiffer spring and damping rate, these components will drastically decrease the dreaded body-roll of the Transporter van giving a much more planted feel in the corners.

The durable sporty springs are complemented by special spring plates manufactured from aluminium alloy. The fronts are CCC coated to prevent rust and give long term corrosion resistance.

We have been running this very kit on our T5 & T6 up until very recently and have always been impressed with the ride quality and longevity of the kit. If your budget allows, this is certainly the suspension setup to go for.

KOMFORT From Bilstein
The Komfort range of coilovers from Bilstein offers all the lows you could ever desire while retaining an OEM driving experience free of the usual stiffness associated with the B14 kit. The all-black dampers in the B14 Komfort kit are paired with much more forgiving Eibach Pro springs to minimise the feedback from the road to your seat. That's not to say that this kit isn't as driver-focused as the standard B14 kit, though. You'll still feel very much in control when behind the wheel thanks to the lower ride height. The Komforts have been carefully designed to combine the compliance of the OEM dampers with the fast-road performance of the B14.

When having new or up-rated suspension fitted it's advisable to replace such things like the rear coil spring mounting cups as these can sometimes be worn. When uprating your suspension, using old worn parts can sometimes cause vibration or knocking from the worn components so we always advise to replace these parts at the same time.

After any adjustment to a vehicle’s ride height it is recommend the vehicle’s geometry is checked and re-aligned using suitable equipment. Failure to do can result in excessive and uneven tyre wear and in extreme cases even affect the vehicles handling. Please note Vanstyle do not offer an alignment/geometry service and alignment is NOT included within the Free Fitting Service.

All specified lowering rates may vary approx. +/- 10 mm depending on vehicle standard specification, options, tolerances & age. For example, camper conversions, carrying weight in the rear.
